Welcome to Maryland! Whether
your idea of adventure involves hiking in picturesque mountains, paddling in fast
moving rivers, swimming in a scenic lake, shushing down steep slopes, or touring
Civil War Sites, Maryland has it in abundance. The Bays and rivers offer visitors
great escapes filled with fishing, boating, and sightseeing. In the 1920's Maryland
was dubbed "America in Miniature." This nickname still fits today through landscapes
that boasts mountains, seashores, cities, countryside and everything in between!
